THE SEQUEL TO HIS NOTABLE PROJECT - SUBURBAN KING PT 2

Dcasso has released the follow-up to his landmark album Suburban King: The Story of Westerly Dr. The next installment, titled Suburban King Pt. 2: College Eviction follows his transition from adolescence into adulthood, during which he was evicted from college housing and fell on hard times.

Whether your an artist, producer, graphic designer, photographer/director, or just a fan…there’s something here for you. First of all COMMUNITY - awesome, like-minded people to share ideas with, encourage each other, and just share memes. There are channels for random fun stuff like pets, cars, and stand-up comedy. Then there’s special sections for creators to get feedback, share resources, and promote their work. There are also Voice Chat “studios” for people to collaborate in real-time or even just kick it and hang out.

Smart Boy Studios is a music production company headquartered in Dayton, OH. The mission of SBS is to provide artists with top quality recording, mixing, mastering, and production services.

The studio started in a bedroom in Lima, OH as a young man's hobby. The “studio” eventually moved to Indianapolis, IN for Ash Matthews to advance his education and career path. Our time in Indy exposed us to many great artists, musicians, and industry professionals.

Now in the center-point of Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Lima, Smart Boy Studios provides top quality audio services to the heart of the Midwest. Working mainly out of Dayton, we are spreading our wings to work closely with studios in Indianapolis. Our sights are set on creating similar relationships in Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, St. Louis, and Louisville.

Ash Matthews - Owner/Engineer/Producer/Software Engineer

Musician from birth, Ash combined his passion for computers with his dedication to music by studying audio technology. Recording his own bands on the most modest of setups, he found a desire to capture performances and manipulate those recordings. This was the birth of Smart Boy Studios.

His first real client, Fenix The Answer, became his best friend. From there, Ash began to study and practice the art of mixing like it was his religion. Eventually attending college for Computer Science AND Computer Engineering, he minored in Recording Industry Studies to keep learning while boosting his knowledge and advancing his skills. He is now a professional audio engineer and music producer.

He is currently the executive producer and lead engineer for many artists in the Midwest, including C-Money Baby, Dcasso, Wallstreet KB, D Knight, K2 Droyd, Dub ThaPoet, and Jexxi.
